How to Delete a Page in Word?

Please let me know that how to delete a page in Word. I am facing some issues while doing this. Help me.

How to Delete a Page in Word That has Graphics and Text in It?

Deleting a page in word with graphics and text is completely different from deleting a blank page. So, first, let us go through the steps that you need to perform to delete a document with text and graphics. 

Step 1: In the first step, you must make sure that the page you want to delete is selected. You obviously don't want the wrong page to get deleted. For this, you can use the Go to function by pressing Ctrl + G in Windows. If you are using, Mac, then select Option + CMD + G in MacOS. After you are done finding the page, tap on it anywhere to select it. 

Step 2: After that, you are required to select the whole page. You may feel that you have performed this step already but this is more like informing Word that you wish to delete the whole page and not some text in it. Then, open the Go to function and then type the page in your enter page number box. Select Go to and then click on close. 

Step 3: Then, you need to delete the page. Microsoft Word does not have a page deletion tool. After you select the whole page, you can delete it easily. Please make sure that you have selected the whole page that you wish to delete and then press the Delete button. 

How to Delete a Blank Page in Word? 

A lot of text editors like MS Word are accustomed to creating a blank page at the end of the document that too for no reason at all. It is important for you to delete these blank pages before you send your document to the respective person.

Below are the easy steps that you need to perform to delete blank pages from your MS Word document. 

Step 1: To delete the blank page, you need to launch a navigation pane. You can easily do this by selecting View from the top menu. Now, check that the navigation pane box is checked. This will open up a new column on the left side. This column will display all the pages in your document. In case it does not show the pages, then you must go to the Pages tab. 

Step 2: After that, you must go through the list of blank pages that you want to delete from your document. Select the blank page by double-clicking on it. You can also tap on it to jump straight to it. 

Step 3: Hold the Ctrl+Shift+8 keys on Windows or you can press the Command key + 8 if you are using Mac. Doing so will make the paragraph markers visible. 

Step 4: You can also place the paragraph markers at the end of the document if you wish to use them again. After you reach proper placement for your paragraph markers, you can easily alter them by increasing or reducing the font size.

Go to the Home tab and then select 1 in the Font Size box. Then, lock the size by pressing the enter key. After you are done performing all the required changes, you need to hide the paragraph markers by using the key combination you used before.
