Turn Off Sticky Keys in Windows 10:

Sticky keys are useful for some users but Windows 10 can disable this feature because it interferes with your work. Some users mentioned that sticky keys won't turn off on their PC and it can lead to a lot of problems.

This does not just happen on the later Windows operating systems but happens on older versions as well. Sticky keys can randomly turn on which can further lead to keyboard problems.

Here, we will discuss different solutions that can help you turn off sticky keys in Windows 10.

1) Check Your Computer for Malware

If you are not able to turn off sticky notes, then that means your computer is infected with malware. Some viruses are designed to annoy the user but they can't harm your device. However, you must run an antivirus scan on your device and if the scan detects a malware, then you must remove it immediately.

You need to install an antivirus program that blocks the virus before it can cause any damage to your device. Plus, it should be able to remove the virus by causing minimum damage to your device.

2) Reinstall Your Keyboard Drivers

Below are the simple steps that you need to follow in order to reinstall the keyboard drivers.

Step 1: Launch Device Manager by pressing the Windows key and X key simultaneously and then select device manager from the list.

Step 2: Search for the keyboard driver, right-click on it and then select the option of Uninstall device.

Step 3: Select the uninstall button to confirm.

Once you are done removing the driver, restart your computer and then the default driver will get installed. When you are done uninstalling the device, please check whether the issue is still persisting or got fixed.

3) Reinstall the Synaptic Pointing Service

If you are still experiencing issues with the sticky keys on your computer, then there is a chance that this problem is occurring because of the Synaptics pointing device. Therefore, you must reinstall the software to fix this problem.

The best way to fix this problem is to use an uninstaller program as it will help you in removing the program safely. In this process, the uninstaller program will help you delete all the registry entries and files related to the app that you don't require anymore.

A good uninstaller program will scan your device and delete lingering files. Moreover, they will remove all the stubborn programs. When you are sure that your program is completely deleted, you can reinstall it and check if the problem is still existing.

4) Change the Power Management Settings of Your Keyboard

Below are the easy steps that you are required to follow in order to change the power management settings of your keyboard.

Step 1: Press the Windows key and X key simultaneously and then select the Device Manager.

Step 2: Now, search for the keyboard and then right-click on it. Select properties from the menu.

Step 3: Go to the tab of power management and then you need to uncheck the option of "Allow PC to turn off this device for saving power".

Step 4: Select Ok for saving changes.

5) Disable Sticky Keys from the Control Panel

Below are the easy steps that you need to follow to disable sticky keys by going to the control panel.

Step 1: First of all, press the Windows key and I key simultaneously to launch the Settings app.

Step 2: Navigate to the section "Ease of access".

Step 3: Go to the left pane and then choose the keyboard option. After that, you need to disable sticky keys from the right pane. If you want, you can disable other options as well.
