Step 5: Select Minecraft and then choose Advanced options.

Step 2: Type appwiz.cpl and press the Enter key. 

Step 3: Go to Minecraft and then right-click on it and then select Uninstall.

Step 4: Press the Windows and E keys simultaneously to launch File Explorer. 

Step 5: Type %Appdata% in the location bar and then press the enter key. 

Step 6: Search for the Minecraft folder and then delete it. 

Step 7: After that, you need to visit the official website of Minecraft and download the latest version. 

Step 8: Install the program and then run it to check.
