Please let me know how to use incognito mode in Opera GX with & without VPN. I am facing some issues while trying to do this. Help me.
Do you love using your Opera GX web browser for gaming purposes but are not sure how to open it in incognito mode, then read below. The incognito mode enables a user to search for something on the internet securely and privately. It makes sure that all your browsing activities are not recorded or tracked.
The VPN only hides your IP address but does not provide you with complete anonymity. Therefore, some people prefer using the incognito mode instead of using the VPN.
Now that we are talking about online security. Opera GX is considered one of the safest and most amazing browsers. Nevertheless, it can be prone to some privacy violations.
However, the Chromium-based browser provides you with various security-focussed features, which ensures that the platform is highly secure. Opera GX provides you with an inbuilt VPN and an ad-blocker. Moreover, you get to browse safely on Google. Plus, it enables you to have a secure connection.
Even if you have the VPN turned on, you may not be able to protect your data from getting tracked and this is when the incognito mode comes to help you. It ensures that some of your browsing sessions cannot be tracked and deletes the cache files when you close the private mode.
If you don't know how to open Incognito mode on GX, then below mentioned are the steps that you are required to follow.
Step 1: Open the incognito mode of Opera GX and then select the red O icon given at the upper-left corner.
Step 2: Choose the new tab option from the menu.
Step 3: Now, the new tab on GX will open on the right.
Step 4: Alternatively, you can select the + symbol given next to the current tab to open a new tab.
You can also press the Ctrl+T shortcut key combination to launch a new tab in Opera GX.
1) Use Opera Menu
Below are the steps that you need to follow to open private mode in Opera GX using the Opera menu.
Step 1: Launch the Opera GX and then select the O symbol in red given at the upper-left corner.
Step 2: Choose the option of "New Private Window" from the menu.
Step 3: After that, a window will open up in the private mode.
2) Use Shortcut
Step 1: Open GX by pressing the keys Ctrl+Shift+ N.
Step 2: Now, the incognito window will open up.
Step 3: After that, you need to turn on the VPN for added privacy.
You can also browse the private mode even without enabling the VPN.
