Fix Outlook Keeps Asking For Password Issue:

There can't be anything more annoying than Outlook asking for a password even after entering it many times in the app. In case the problem is lasting longer, then it can become extremely frustrating. There are multiple reasons why one may have to enter the password once again.

There is a chance that your profile has been configured in a manner that you must enter the login details every time you send an email. There is a chance that a corrupt profile is causing the problem. Below, we have mentioned some fixes that you can try and fix your error in Outlook on your computer.

Your Windows computer comes with a credentials manager that enables you to manage the login details for different services. It saves passwords and usernames for your Outlook as well. Sometimes the saved information can interfere with the workings of your app and may force Outlook to ask for the password again and again.

To resolve this issue, you need to clear Outlook logins by going to the credentials manager on your computer.

Step 1: First of all, navigate to Cortana search and then launch the Control Panel.

Step 2: Select Users account on the following screen.

Step 3: Choose the option that says Credentials Manager.

Fix 2: Enable the Remember Password Option

A lot of apps and websites give you the option of Remembering the password. When you use this feature, you are not required to enter the password again and again. Fix 3: Disable the Always Prompt to Login

If you are using an exchange email account on Outlook, then there is an option that you see as a prompt on Outlook for your password every time you access it. In case you did not disable this option and you are not sure about it, then the best way to fix the problem is to turn it off.

  • Launch Control Panel by going to the Cortana search on your PC.
  • Select the button of Email accounts to view your accounts.
  • Select your account from the list and select the Change button by going to the top.

Fix 4: Create and Use a New Outlook Profile
