Please let me know how to permanently delete your Cash App account. I am facing some issues while trying to delete the app. Help me.
The cash app helps you send money to family, friends, and other contacts. The app allows you to send money directly from your phone. You can also delete the cash app linked to your bank account. There can be various reasons why one may want to delete the app.
You may delete the app because you found a better app. One may also delete the app simply because they don't want to use it anymore. However, you cannot delete it from the home screen like a regular app.
To delete your Cash app, you must permanently delete your account before you go ahead and delete the app. Below are the simple steps that you need to follow to delete your Cash app account.
Below are the simple steps that you need to follow to remove your Cash app account.
Step 1: Launch the Cash app on your Android or iOS smartphone. The icon of the app is green and it has a dollar sign.
Step 2: If there is money in your account, then you must transfer it to your bank before you go ahead. You just have to tap on the Banking icon given at the lower-left corner and then select the Cash Out option. If you have bitcoins or stocks, you need to sell it off before you close the account.
Step 3: Select the account icon by going to the upper-right corner.
Step 4: Now, choose Support.
Step 5: Go to the end of the screen and then select Something Else.
Step 6: After that, go to the next page and then scroll to the end and choose Account Settings.
Step 7: Then, open the menu of Account Settings and then go to the option of Close my cash app account given at the end of the list.
Step 8: Now, select Confirm. This will allow you to sign out of your Cash app. Then, you will get an email confirmation to unlink your account. Please ensure that you get this email before deleting your app.
Step 9: Now, you must delete the Cash app from your device. Go to the home screen and then carry out the steps from iPhone, iPad, and Android.
