Enable Bitlocker on Windows 10 Home

Suppose that you are currently having Windows 10 Home edition installed on your system. So, are you looking for any way to install and Enable Bitlocker on Windows 10 Home system? Bitlocker is basically compatible with Windows 10 Home edition which is not the same as Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

Option 1: Encrypt the Drive Using Other Windows 10 Professional Computer

We know that  Bitlocker is not enabled on Windows 10 Home but Windows 10 Home can still unlock and read Bitlocker encrypted drives. So, it can be good to use Windows 10 Professional computer for encrypting the drive.

Step 3: Fill in the desired new password when asked and then press Enter.

Step 4: Confirm the new password information by typing it again when prompted and pressing the Enter button at last.

Step 5: So, when your password is successfully updated, you are free to close the command prompt window displayed on your screen.

Steps to Turn off Bitlocker Drive Encryption on Windows 10 Home
