This backlit feature is only required during dark hours. This feature is not needed in the daytime. Therefore, you must turn off this feature when it's bright outside. In order to turn off the keyboard lighting of your laptop, you need to press the same key combination you used to turn on the keyboard lighting i.e., Fn+F5, F11, or F9 key.
