Hello Guys,Please let me know how to boot in safe mode in windows 10?.I don't know how to boot it. I tried many times but unable to boot it.So can anyone have any idea?

Steps to Boot Safe Mode in Windows 10: From the Sign-in Screen

1. Launch the start menu by clicking the button present in the lower-left corner of your screen. It is of the shape of the Windows logo.

2. Continuously, press and hold the Shift key while clicking the Restart button. This will allow your system to restart in the Windows Recovery Environment (winRE). Next, you will find a blue screen with Choose an Option at the top screen.

3. At last, select the Troubleshoot option.

4. Under the Advanced options, click on Startup Settings. If you don't find the option, simply click to check more recovery options at the bottom of your screen.

5. Now, click on the Restart button.

6. As you find the Startup Settings screen, press the F4 or 4 key. If you are required to go online while in safe mode, press F5 key.

7. Once you complete, your computer will execute in safe mode. You can check whether you are in safe mode or not, if you see a message at the top of your screen and the resolution is diminished. ‘

8. As you are working in safe mode, you can always uninstall software, scan for malware, update your drivers, or run a system restore and fix the occurring issues.

Steps to Boot Safe Mode in Windows 10: From Settings

1. Launch the start menu and click on Settings. You will find a gear-shaped icon just above the power button.

2. Next, click on the Update & Security tab.

3. Then, click on the Recovery button which is present in the left sidebar.

4. Under the Advanced Startup menu, press Restart Now option. This will restart your PC and you will see a Choose an Option screen. 

5. Check the boot recovery menu and select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

6. Lastly, press the F4 or 4 key as you see the Startup Settings screen.

Steps to Boot Safe Mode in Windows 10: From a Black Screen

 

After following the above procedure, if you are still unable to sign in to your computer, simply boot in safe mode by interrupting the startup process three times. Check the steps listed:

1. Turn on your computer by pressing the power button. 

2. While the Windows starts, hold down the power button again for a minimum of 4 seconds. Wait until you see your computer trying to start up. Alternatively, you may have to wait until you see a spinning wheel or progress bar.

3. Keep repeating the process of turning your computer on and off using the power button for 3 times.

4. As the computer starts for the fourth time, it will boot in Automatic Repair mode. You will be asked to select an account and enter the corresponding password.

5. If the computer has a problem, click on Advanced options.

6. Select the options as Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

7. Lastly, press the F4 or 4 key as you see the Startup Settings screen.

Steps to Turn off the Safe Mode on Windows 10

1. Firstly, press both Windows key + R keys.

2. In the run dialog box, enter msconfig and press the OK button.

3. Under the Boot tab, uncheck the Safe boot box in the Boot options.
