Hello Guys, Please let me know How to find saved Wi-Fi passwords on your Windows 10 PC? I don't know how to find it. I tried many times but unable to find it. Help me.
Imagine this you just bought a brand new phone or tablet and can’t wait to try it out. You unwrap the device and turn it on.
What if you want to find saved Wi-Fi passwords on your Windows 10 PC? But you forgot the Wi-Fi password! Without that password, you are unable to access the digital world on your new device.

In this article, I’m going to provide you how to find saved Wi-Fi passwords on your Windows 10 PC so you can connect any new device without asking the IT team.
To default method you have to go with your Windows Settings. To do this method, you should be connected to the network whose password you want to find.
Step 1: Open up Settings on Windows 10. You can enter ‘Settings’ and click the app that shows in the Windows search box (under ‘Best match’) or click the settings icon on the bottom left.
Step 2: Tap on Network & Internet once the settings window opens up.
Step 3: Go down until you see Network and Sharing Center, click on it.
Step 4: You must be guided to the following window. Tap on the wifi network you are connected to.
Step 5: Tap on the Wireless Properties button.
Step 6: Click the Security tab on the upper-right hand side. After that choosing the ‘Show characters’ checkbox. It will reveal you the wifi password for the network you are connected to.
If you need to find the WiFi password for a network you’ve used in the past, or you are facing trouble browsing Windows 10, you can take help from a free third-party program like WiFi Password Revealer.
Step 1: Click here to download the program. Simply hit the blue “Download” button.
Step 2: When the download is completed, open it in your browser.
Step 3: Choose your desired language and click ‘OK’ to continue.
Step 4: Choose ‘Accept the agreement’ and click Next.
Step 5: Choose the destination location to save the folder.
Step 6: Select either to add an additional shortcut.
Step 7: Click ‘Install’.
Step 8: Select ‘Finish’ when the program is installed on your PC.
Step 9: The application will open and disclose all the networks you have connected to using your Windows device in the past, besides the passwords you have used to successfully connect to each one.
The benefits of this method is that you can see the Wifi passwords for every network you have connected to in the past. Although, this method can only reveal you the Wifi passwords that you have used to access those networks. If they have been changed since then, you won’t see the new passwords.
People who are friendly with computers, they can also use the command line tool created into Windows 10 to quickly find saved WiFi passwords. It is very suitable, as you don’t need to download any extra software and just run a single command. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Find and open Command quick app on Windows 10. Right-click and tap Run as Administrator.
Step 2: Enter this: netsh wlan show profile. It will reveal you a list of networks you have connected to in the past.
Step 3: Search the network that you need the password for. Once you find it, enter in the following: netsh wlan show
profile network_name key=clear.
Don’t forget to replace [wifi-name] with the real WiFi username. After that the password will show next to the section
which says Key Content.
Alternative way to find Saved WiFi Passwords on your Windows 10 PC is by using third-party software like WirelessKeyView. It is a free application designed through ‘NirSoft’ and this software can help you rebuild your wireless network security passkeys either WEP or WPA stored in your Windows 10 or Windows 8 / 7 PC. Once you open the app, it will list all the details of all the wireless networks your PC has connected to.
