How to Fix HDMI Output Problems in Windows 10?

Hello Guys,Please let me know how to fix HDMI output problems in Windows 10? I attempted many times but failed. So Can anyone have any idea? Help me.

HDMI Output Problems in Windows 10

1) Check your Hardware

Before we jump on to more complicated troubleshooting solutions , let's try to fix our problem with the easier ones. The first thing that you need to ensure is that the HDMI cable has been inserted properly. Also, you must make sure that every other function is working properly. 

Mentioned below are the steps that you need to carry out in order to check your hardware. 

  • Firstly, ensure that the HDMI connection is proper. Disconnect the wire and then connect it once again. Also, ensure that the wire is properly connected to the HDMI port. 
  • Power on your HDMI TV or speaker and then tur on your PC. After that, turn off your TV or speaker. Now, diconnect the devices and then wait for a minute and then reconnect them all. After you are done refreshing your HDMI connection.

2) Please Ensure that your HDMI Device is the Default One

In order to ensure that your HDMI device is the default device, these are the steps that you are required to follow. 

Step 1: Go to the taskbar and then right click on the volume icon. 

Step 2: Click on the option of playback devices and then select HDMI or digital output device in the new tab that opened before you. 

Step 3: Select set default and then select Ok. This will set sound output as default. 

In case the device is not set as default device even after following the steps given above, then that mans the HDMI output is unavailable. Additionally, you need to ensure that the option of "Show disconnected devices" has been enabled. 

3) Rollback to the Older Driver

Open Device Manager and look for the device that is bothering you. Such a device usually have an exclaimation mark righr next to it.
