Is there anyone who knows about how to use Apple keyboard and mouse on Windows 10. I am facing some issues while using it. Help me.
Apple is one of the most popular brands in the market. It offers a wide range of peripheral products in the market. If you are a Windows user who wishes to use Apple components along with it, then read on. Both Apple keyboard and mouse are wireless devices. You can pair these devices to your Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. Apple mouse also has wired USB support.
Apple Magic Mouse is a bit different from other mouse products available in the market. This mouse does not have a scroll wheel or physical buttons by it can perform all the functions that a normal mouse can perform.
You may feel a bit weird while using this product at first but with time you will get used to it. You just need to download a free driver and complete the basic installation process in order to use this mouse. The complete installation process does not take more than 10 minutes.
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to configure this mouse.
Step 1: Download the driver by going to the Magic Utilities website. There, you will see two types of drivers. Download the driver of the mouse version you are using.
Step 2: The .zip file of your driver will get downloaded on your system. Extract this file. Double-click on this file to begin with the installation process. The installation process is easy and basic.
You just need to carry out all the instructions given by the installer. Complete the installation process by accepting the license agreement and then choose the location where you want to keep the installed driver.
Step 3: Before you go ahead and finalize the configuration, the installer will start downloading the utilities for your mouse's model. These utilities won't take a lot of time to download as they have less than 4MB of space.
Step 4: Go to the last page of the setup wizard and then run installed utilities. You can also see these utilities in the taskbar.
Step 5: In the last step connect the mouse to the system.
Apple wireless keyboards are very different from normal keyboards. If you want a keyboard with a simple and streamlined look, then you must use the Apple keyboard. It is very easy to configure an Apple keyboard.
Below are the simple steps that you need to follow to configure an Apple keyboard.
Before you start with the installation process, you must make sure that your keyboard is fully charged.
Step 1: Go to the bottom left corner of your screen and enter Bluetooth in the search area. After that, select Bluetooth settings.
Step 2: Now, you will see the name of your keyboard in the Manage Bluetooth Devices list.
Step 3: Go to the Apple Wireless Keyboard and then click on Pair.
Step 4: Now, you will see a passcode on your screen. Enter this passcode using your keyboard.
Step 5: Press the Enter key to complete the configuration process.
After performing the steps above, if you see a message that says "That didn't work, please ensure that your device is discoverable, then below are the steps that you need to follow in order to resolve your issue.
Step 1: Go to the Windows icon and then right-click on it.
Step 2: After that, choose Device Manager.
Step 3: Now, ensure that there are no Bluetooth errors.
Step 4: Go to Software Devices and run a scan. After that, go to the category of "System devices" and update the drivers if required.
