Is there anyone who knows how to fix Microsoft Outlook crashing issue when opening uber receipt emails? I am facing some issues while using Outlook. Help me.

Whenever you avail an Uber service, you will receive a receipt of your payment within the next 24 hours. These receipts are downloadable as it has the breakdown of your fare or fees and service charges. A lot of users have mentioned that Their Microsoft Outlook crashes when they try to open and view the receipt emails of Uber. Whenever Uber sends you official receipts, its Outlook email client stops working.

Presently, users getting affected by the mail client issue use Microsoft 365 current channel version 2206 Build 15330.20196 and later. It affects Microsoft 365 customers using the current channel preview builds and current beta.
As per Microsoft, a fix is ready to release the beta channel for the customers. Micorost Word team is going to introduce the fix on the monthly patch maximum by 9th August 2022. It also recommends its customers to change their Microsoft build to the versions that don't get affected by the Uber mail crashing error.
Nevertheless, if you don't wish to wait for the fix from the patch release of Microsoft, then you must do something about the problem in hand.
To troubleshoot the problem of Microsoft Outlook crashing with uber receipts, below are the steps that you need to follow.
Step 1: Select the Start button.
Step 2: Go to the Search option and then enter cmd.
Step 3: Choose Command Prompt with admin rights.
Step 4: Enter the command "cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun".
Step 5: After that, enter the command "officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.15225.20288".
