Mark an Entire Gmail Inbox as Read

We've all been there: you open up your email and read one or two messages, but a few hours later, you realize that you're still dealing with the same unread messages. Or perhaps you never check your email again after a couple of hours and find that it's buried under all of the new messages that came in, to the point where you don't even know how many unread emails are left.

Log into your Gmail account.

So what's the best way to get rid of all those pesky unread emails? By marking your entire inbox as read, of course!

Here's how to do it: log into your Gmail account and click on the little gear icon in the top right-hand corner. Then, select "All mail." You should see a bunch of checkboxes next to each email.

Select the top checkbox to select all of the emails on that page. (If you have a lot of emails, you may have to do this multiple times.) Once they're all selected, click on the "Mark as read" button. And that's it! All of your unread emails are now gone.

Now, you can breathe a sigh of relief and get on with your day.
