Please let me know that how to reduce Chrome memory usage & make it use less RAM. I am facing some issues in this. Help me.

Google Chrome is one of the most known browsers today. This web browser is so reliable is because it runs on Chromium. Recently, Microsoft made an announcement to move Microsoft Edge to the Chromium Engine. We all know that Google Chrome uses so much RAM.
This slows down your system and impacts the overall experience of the user. Here in this post, you will learn how to reduce Chrome memory usage. Below are the different solutions that you can apply so your Chrome browser takes up less memory.
Take a look at the solutions below in order to reduce Chrome's high memory usage.
1) Close the Tabs that You are not Using
If you find any unused tabs on your browser, then you must close them. There is a chance that those unused tabs are eating your memory. Therefore, you must close the tabs that you are not using. This will surely reduce down the RAM usage.
2) Run an Antivirus Scan
This issue can also occur because of adware or malware. Therefore, you must run an antivirus scan so that your browser stops using so much memory. You can run a scan by using the freeware given in the list below.
3) Allow Hardware Acceleration
Launch the Chrome browser on your system and then select the Menu button. After that, select the option of Settings. On your Settings page, search for the button "Advanced" and then select it. Then, go to the section of System and then enable "Use hardware acceleration when available".
After that, you need to launch Google Chrome again. Now, you need to enter chrome://gpu/ in the location bar of your browser and then press Enter. Then, you will see GPU Rendering or hardware acceleration is disabled or enabled.
4) Disable or Remove Browser Extensions
There is a very high possibility that your browser extensions are eating up your RAM. The toolbars and extensions installed on your internet browser may affect the loading of a webpage.
In order to resolve this issue, you must disable or remove the extensions. You can also identify the extension causing the issue by launching Chrome in Safe Mode.
5) Reinstall or Reset your Chrome Browser
If you wish to reset Google Chrome, then you need to ensure that the browser is not running in the background. For that, you need to close the browser by going to Task Manager.
When you reset your Google Chrome, then your Homepage, Search Engine, pinned tabs, new tab page will reset to default mode. Moreover, themes, add-ons, and extensions will get disabled. Plus, the content settings will be reset. Furthermore, the site data, cache, and cookies will be removed.
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to reset Google Chrome.
Step 1: Press the Windows key and R key simultaneously and then launch Run. Now, you need to enter "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Google \Chrome\User Data.
Step 2: After that, choose the folder named Default and then press Shift and Delete key combinations. After that, select Yes to confirm the Prompt.
Step 3: Once you are done deleting the Default folder, then launch Google Chrome and select the menu button with three vertical dots.
Step 4: After that, go to Settings. Now, go to Advanced section under Settings. This will reveal Advanced Settings.
Go down to the button of Restore settings to their original defaults and then select it. This will reset your Google Chrome browser.
