Fix Safari Too Many Redirects Occurred:

We all know that Safari is a privacy-centric browser. It has an inbuilt feature such as ITP that combats data theft and privacy attacks. In case the site is not able to resolve or redirect itself, then you may face the problem of "too many redirect" errors in Safari.

Generally, this issue arises because of problems with the site. Therefore, to know the cause of the problem, you need to check your settings and clear the site data to ensure that there is no problem in your browser.

There are many browsers available for people to use but people are happy with Apple's default browser. This is because Apple offers various perks to its users. However, people can encounter issues while using it. One of the common problems that Safari users face is the redirect issue.

When you select the link, it will take you to another page of the website and it will take you back to the previous page and before you know it you will get stuck in the infinite loop of redirects. You may face this problem if Safari is affected by malware.

Below, we have different solutions that you can apply to fix this problem.

1) Disable Intelligent Tracking Prevention of Safari

Recently, Apple introduced a new feature, which is called the "Intelligent tracking prevention" feature. It uses machine learning to know how a user interacts with a website and then it deals with third-party cookies, ads, and trackers. Check the ITP under the feature of "Safari Privacy Reports". ITP may conflict with the websites, which use an authentication service.

They prevent the website from creating a successful connection for authentication purposes and hence get stuck within the same environment. This further leads to the redirection error. In order to fix this problem, disable the ITP.

Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to disable Safari intelligent tracking prevention on Mac.

Step 1: Open the Safari browser on your Mac.

Step 2: Go to the Safari menu from the menubar options.

Step 3: Select the Preferences menu from the drop-down list and this will open up the window of Safari preferences.

Step 4: Go to the Privacy tab and then uncheck the option of "Prevent cross-site tracking".

This will disable ITP on Safari and then cross-site tracking will get enabled. Users can disable ITP for iPad and iPhone as well.

After disabling the tracking option on your Safari browser. Then, try to visit the same site again. Now, check whether too many redirect issue has been fixed on Safari or not.

2) Delete Website Data
