Please let me know how to delete an email account on your Android device. I am facing some issues while trying to delete an email account. Help me.
Android devices have become totally equipped with an email app. The email app of Android enables you to link various email addresses at the same time. You can change between accounts with just a few taps. If you wish to delete your email account with the email app, then below are the steps that you are required to follow.
Below are the steps that you are required to follow in order to delete email account on Android.
Step 1: Launch the email app. In case you are experiencing issues in finding the app, then you must go to the top on your home screen, then select the search bar, and then enter your email.
Step 2: If asked, then you need to enter your login information. You can pen your inbox and then select the three horizontal lines appearing at the top left corner of your screen to launch a menu.
Step 3: Select the Settings icon or the gear icon given at the upper-right corner of the menu.
Step 4: The accounts linked to your email app will show up at the upper section of the accounts list. Select the email account that you want to delete.
Step 5: Now, select Remove given at the upper-right corner of your screen.
Step 6: Select Remove appearing in the pop-up window to confirm that you wish to delete the account.
The email account you select will be completely removed from the email app you are using. Keep in mind that the other accounts linked to the app will stay active if you don't remove them.
